Noris Ma
Clinical, Educationl & Developmental Psychologist
Mr Noris Ma is a Clinical, Educational and Developmental Psychologist with almost 20 years of experience providing evidence-based psychological assessment and intervention for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. He is the founder of Noris Ma Psychology, a specialist psychology practice dedicated to delivering client-centred, culturally responsive, and evidence-based care.
Noris holds endorsements in both Clinical Psychology and Educational & Developmental Psychology and is an AHPRA-approved supervisor. Throughout his career, he has worked extensively with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), trauma, insomnia, learning difficulties, developmental delays, and complex life transitions. He also provides comprehensive psychological assessments, including cognitive, educational, ADHD, autism, and diagnostic assessments across the lifespan.
Noris adopts a collaborative and strengths-based approach to therapy, tailoring evidence-based interventions to each person's unique needs, circumstances, and goals. He is passionate about helping individuals, families, and communities build resilience, enhance wellbeing, and achieve meaningful change. His practice is guided by respect, compassion, cultural sensitivity, and a commitment to delivering high-quality psychological care.
In addition to clinical practice, Noris is committed to mental health education and advocacy. He is the host of the Chinese-language mental health radio program Psychology Interview Room (心灵会客室) on 2CR Radio, where he works to increase mental health awareness and reduce stigma within multicultural communities.
Noris provides services in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, enabling him to support clients from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. He welcomes referrals under Medicare, NDIS, WorkCover, CTP, Victims Support, private health funds, and private-paying arrangements.
Tury Porter
Social Worker, AASW
Tury is a professionally trained social worker who commenced her career in Hong Kong, where she practised in intensive counselling settings. In her early years of practice, she provided therapeutic support to individuals and families experiencing a wide range of complex psychosocial concerns, including mental health difficulties, substance misuse, involvement with the criminal justice system, offender rehabilitation, child protection matters, domestic and family violence, couple and family relationship issues.
Her qualifications and professional experience are recognised by the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). She migrated to Australia in 2011 as a skilled social worker and has since continued to practise in both counselling and social work roles across diverse settings.
Tury provides counselling in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, enabling her to deliver culturally responsive and linguistically appropriate services. She has particular expertise in supporting clients from Cantonese- and Mandarin-speaking backgrounds.
Tury is an Approved Counsellor with NSW Victims Services and provides trauma- informed counselling to individuals impacted by crime. Tury also works with individuals and couples presenting with concerns related to sexuality and intimate relationships, offering a respectful, confidential, and non-judgemental therapeutic environment.
In addition to her clinical work, Tury prepares independent forensic assessment reports for legal purposes, including visa applications under family violence provisions and reports for criminal sentencing matters.
Additionally, Tury’s qualifications and professional experience have been recognised by several universities in New South Wales. She has held roles as a lecturer, tutor, and field education supervisor within their social work programs.
Helen Tang
Counsellor / Psychotherapist
Helen is a registered counsellor. From very young, she is compassionate to make a positive difference to other people’s live. She believes that everyone wants to be good and everyone has their strengths to work out their potential. Nevertheless, people sometimes are stuck and sometimes are lost. Thus, her motto is “iCARE”, meaning that she cares for every story.
Through compassion, attentiveness, respect and empowerment, Helen collaborates with clients and supports them to work toward growth, healing, clarity and building life visions. Helen has rich community experience. She has worked with Careline Connections, Griefline, and Cancare Centre, and has also served as a church playgroup coordinator, community school teacher, hospital chaplain, and pastoral practitioner in an aged care centre.
Helen’s counselling service covers anxiety & depression, grief & loss, emotional dysregulation, social engagement, relationship counselling and Christian counselling. Helen provides online/face-to-face/teleconsultation services in both English and Cantonese.
Karena Wong
Support Worker
Karena has been working as a Support Worker for over 3 years, supporting individuals to build independence, confidence, and meaningful community connections.
Drawing on her studies in Psychology and current Honours degree, she brings a strong understanding of human behaviour, wellbeing, and social development.
Karena facilitates weekly social group activities and art sessions, creating engaging opportunities for clients to develop social skills, express creativity, and participate actively in their communities.
